 Alumni Volunteer Programme

Volunteering_p2.jpgMaintain your link with SIM University (UniSIM) by getting involved through the UniSIM Alumni Volunteer Programme, brought to you by the University Alumni Relations Department!

We encourage your participation in our many alumni groups which give you a chance to contribute back to your alma mater and meet like-minded people.

Whether you are a recent graduate looking to build upon connections made as a student, or a seasoned alumnus seeking to expand your networks and to continue your relationship with UniSIM, we value alumni involvement. Your knowledge, expertise, energy and enthusiasm are tremendous assets that can benefit the university. Every involved alumnus strengthens the UniSIM community. Join the many alumni who are volunteering their talents. We promise you experiences that are meaningful, rewarding and fun!

UniSIM is a young university. We depend on our faculty, staff, students, and, of course, our alumni and volunteers like you to connect, collaborate and communicate, thereby helping us to grow into a meaningful community.

As a volunteer, you will benefit from your involvement in different ways. Some enjoy meeting new people and discovering friends, and some will benefit from the interactions made possible through the alumni network.

We are behind you!

You will be supported by the group leaders and UniSIM Alumni Relations Department. You will receive regular updates on the developments of the university and initiatives of Alumni Relations Department. You can also count on your fellow group members for support and advice.

To get started

You can join your preferred alumni group as an 'observer'; the group leader will assign a buddy to each observer. The observation period is determined by the group leader and it may vary from applicant to applicant. When deem suitable, the observer will be appointed as a volunteer.

To be a student volunteer, you should be at least in your third semester of study.

As an appointed volunteer, you will:
  • Be offered to serve the UniSIM student/alumni community
  • Be invited to attend exclusive UniSIM volunteers events
  • Sign a non-disclosure agreement
  • Be introduced to fellow volunteers
  • Automatically be qualified as a Fast Pass holder
