Course Objectives

The Diploma in Employment Relations is specially designed to be practice-oriented for personnel who have responsibilities or an interest in the industrial relations and human resource management functions - trade union leaders and members, industrial relations officers, supervisors, personnel/HR executives and managers.

At the end of this course, you will be able to acquire a working knowledge of the relevant theories, human resource and organisational development, practices on change management, compensation management, tripartism and industrial relations. These topics aim to enhance your analytical and thinking skills by integrating theory with practical issues and experiences, enabling you to forge better labour-management relations and tripartite partnership through sharing of real-life workplace situations.

Course Fees

Full program fees inclusive of GST: S$4066.00
Net fee payable after SDF: S$2166.00 (For Singaporeans & PR)
Net fee payable after SDF: $646.00 (For Singaporeans only above 40 years)

Admission Criteria

  • Have GCE “A” Level (with at least 2 Advance passes and 2 Ordinary level passes including General Paper) or its equivalent. In lieu of GCE “A” Level, other qualifications or experience in trade union work. Such candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis.​
  • Be at least 22 years old at the date of program commencement. Preferably have at least 2 years of full-time relevant work experience.
  • Be proficient in both written and spoken English.​
