On 23 February 2012, UniSIM signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the following companies, which will participate as Corporate Affiliates of UniSIM's Master of Science in Urban Transport Management (UTM) programme:

As Corporate Affiliates, these companies will provide industrial attachment placements for UTM students to allow them to understand the operations of the Corporate Affiliates and identify a topic for their capstone projects. To facilitate this, the Corporate Affiliates will assign students to a senior staff, who would provide the learning environment for and supervise the progress of the students.

Building and Construction Authority

The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) - an agency under the Ministry of National Development - champions the development of an excellent built environment for Singapore.

On 23 July 2010, UniSIM entered into an agreement with BCA and Singapore Polytechnic to jointly offer courses for the Bachelor of Science in Facilities and Events Management programme, and the corresponding honours degree programme. Another MOU was signed on 15 May 2012 for the Bachelor of Building and Project Management programme which UniSIM and BCA are co-developing. Under this agreement, UniSIM and BCA will receive support from the Construction Industry Joint Committee, including endorsement, strategic planning and the co-hosting of seminars and visits.

Business China​​

Business China is a platform integrating language, economic and cultural elements. Its mission is to nurture an inclusive bilingual and bi-cultural group of Singaporeans through extensive use of the Chinese language as the medium of communication, so as to sustain Singapore's multi-cultural heritage and to develop a cultural and economic bridge linking the world and China.

UniSIM and Business China signed an MOU on 12 June 2011 to launch the UniSIM-Business China Sponsorship Programme, which aims to nurture a bilingual and bi-cultural workforce that is more China-savvy. The sponsorship offers opportunities for members of Business China to pursue Chinese undergraduate programmes at UniSIM with up to 80% sponsorship on course fees. This is the first time that Business China is collaborating with an educational institution to award sponsorships.

Construction Industry Joint Committee

Formed in 1997, the Construction Industry Joint Committee (CIJC) unites key players in the construction industry and works closely with the Singapore government towards the betterment of the industry. Its eight members are the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore, Institution of Engineers Singapore, Real Estate Developers' Association of Singapore, Singapore Contractors Association Limited, Singapore Institute of Architects, Singapore Institute of Building Limited, Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers, and Society of Project Managers.

With an MOU signed on 15 May 2012, the CIJC expressed its support for the Bachelor of Building and Project Management programme jointly developed by UniSIM and the Building and Construction Authority. As a strategic partner for the programme, CIJC will appoint representatives from its institutional members to sit on the programme’s advisory panel to provide feedback and offer strategic plans, as well as undertake roles such as course designers, developers, instructors and assessors.

Council for Third Age

Set up in May 2007, the Council for Third Age is an independent body that promotes active ageing, so that seniors can achieve a better quality of life in all six dimensions of wellness - social, intellectual, physical, vocational, emotional and spiritual. It partners businesses and community organisations to develop products and services that meet the needs and interests of seniors.

UniSIM and the Council for Third Age joined hands on 27 August 2007 to promote UniSIM's pioneering 'Learning for Life' General Studies Programme (GSP) to the silver generation. GSP allows adults of all ages to design their own academic programme to suit their learning needs, financial ability and lifestyles, and study at their own pace towards certificates, a diploma or even a degree.

Creative Media Academy

Creative Media Academy (CMA) is a learning organisation set up in partnership with tertiary institutions and top technology companies to offer an unparalleled hands-on experience in high quality creative media education. It was founded by media veterans and Vue Networks - a regional media production facility and associate company of Creative Technology, a world leader in the research and development of audio and video systems in computer media entertainment and education.

On 8 August 2012, UniSIM partnered CMA to deliver quality continuing education and training in media technology to the South East Asian region. CMA will also assist UniSIM to teach and develop a suite of courses in broadcast engineering and further develop its current infrastructure capabilities.

On 30 May 2008, UniSIM signed an MOU with the following five public accounting firms to launch the Singapore's first part-time Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) degree programme:

In this partnership, the accounting firms commit to send senior staff to augment the teaching staff, including those from the Tax Academy of Singapore, on the programme.  In addition, the firms will provide industrial attachment or job opportunities for UniSIM students.

​Financial Planning Association of Singapore

Established on 1 December 1998, the Financial Planning Association of Singapore (FPAS) is a non-profit professional association dedicated to developing and promoting an industry providing unbiased financial advice to the Singaporean public. FPAS is the professional organisation for the financial planning industry in Singapore and is the organisation representing qualified financial planners.

UniSIM signed an MOU with FPAS on 23 September 2011 to offer courses leading to the FPAS 'Certified Financial Planner' (CFP) designation, which is aligned with the global CFP designation awarded by the CFP Board in the United States. UniSIM is the first institution in Singapore to offer courses of such nature, with its students needing only to take a challenge paper at FPAS, upon completing a specified set of courses, to obtain full CFP-certification. The parties will also look into collaboration for case-writing and the institution of scholarships and awards.

HomeTeamNS

HomeTeamNS was formed on 1 April 2005 through the integration of the Singapore Police Association for National Servicemen and the Civil Defence Association for National Servicemen. The association recognises the invaluable contributions made by Police and Civil Defence NSmen to the safety and security of the nation, and aims to build a greater sense of camaraderie and bonding among them.

On 1 August 2007, UniSIM launched a bond-free education sponsorship programme with HomeTeamNS to further the cause of promoting lifelong learning and upgrading. This programme, opened to HomeTeamNS ordinary members who meet UniSIM's admission requirements, will cover part of the course fees in UniSIM's undergraduate programmes. A new MOU was signed on 23 September 2010 to renew the sponsorship.

Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore

Established in 1963, the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore (ICPAS) is the national organisation for the accountancy profession in Singapore. Its mission is to develop, support and enhance the integrity, status and interests of the accountancy profession in Singapore.

UniSIM and ICPAS signed an MOU on 6 December 2006 to collaborate in the area of training and continuing education, with the objective of nurturing more accounting professionals in Singapore. Under this collaboration, UniSIM will offer certificate courses from its School of Business to ICPAS Professional Examination candidates. These courses are also offered in the undergraduate programmes at UniSIM.

Land Transport Authority

Established on 1 September 1995, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) is a statutory board under the Ministry of Transport that spearheads land transport developments in Singapore. It aims to provide an efficient and cost-effective land transport system that meets different needs, with the ultimate goal of a smooth and seamless journey for all.

On 25 February 2010, UniSIM signed an MOU with LTA to conduct a Master of Science in Urban Transport Management programme. This programme, jointly developed by UniSIM and the LTA Academy, provides a holistic and rigorous postgraduate training in urban transport management, and is the first of its kind in the region. Highlights of the programme include opportunities for practical application of knowledge and skills through industrial attachments and independent project work in urban transport.

MAJ Aviation

Established in 2003, MAJ Aviation (MAJ) provides specialised aviation services and engineering support solutions to the aviation industry. As a CAAS SAR 145 Approved Maintenance Organisation, MAJ has diversified into more sophisticated businesses within the industry, such as programme management, system support solution, aviation training and operating a flying club for institutional flight appreciation.

As stated in the MOU signed on 28 October 2009, MAJ will work with UniSIM's School of Science and Technology (SST) to develop course materials for the Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Aerospace Systems programme. MAJ will also provide support in the supervision of capstone projects for graduating students and arrangement for industrial attachment.

​MFA Diplomatic Academy

Established in 1965, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) is a ministry of the Singapore Government responsible for conducting and managing diplomatic relations between Singapore and other countries. The MFA Diplomatic Academy, set up on 1 February 2007 as part of the MFA, aims to enhance the professionalism of Singapore diplomats and officials in managing international relations.

UniSIM and MFA Diplomatic Academy signed an MOU on 7 May 2008 to launch the Certification Examination for Professional Interpreters to provide official recognition to interpreters who have acquired the necessary skills to interpret for significant occasions.

National Kidney Foundation

The National Kidney Foundation (NKF) is a non-profit voluntary organisation that provides dialysis treatment and rehabilitative care to kidney failure patients at affordable, subsidised rates. It also provides health-screening and public educations services. 

UniSIM's School of Human Development and Social Services (HDSS) signed an MOU with the NKF on 26 June 2007. Under this agreement, the NKF will explore providing practicum sites for HDSS students, while HDSS will look into providing the Basic Befrienders' Course, which may lead to possible credit exemption in its Bachelor of Counselling programme.

National Trades Union Congress

Set up in 1961, the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) is a national federation of trade unions of workers in the industrial, service and public sectors representing more than half a million workers in Singapore. NTUC's objectives are to help Singapore stay competitive, enhance the social status, well-being and employability of workers, and build a strong, responsible and caring labour movement.

UniSIM and NTUC signed an MOU on 10 July 2006 to promote education opportunities for working professional and adult learners, particularly NTUC union members. Under the UniSIM-NTUC Sponsorship Scheme, selected eligible union members will be able to pursue degree programmes with UniSIM under bond-free sponsorships. The MOU was renewed on 10 August 2009.

​Ong Teng Cheong Labour Leadership Institute

The Ong Teng Cheong Labour Leadership Institute (OTCLLi) is a training agency which partners the labour movement in developing and strengthening union leadership in Singapore.  Formerly known as the Ong Teng Cheong Institute of Labour Studies, the OTCLLi is also mission-driven to advance the practice of good industrial relations in Singapore.

UniSIM and OTCLLi signed an MOU on 6 January 2006 to jointly offer the Diploma in Employment Relations (DER) programme, as well as jointly develop its curriculum. In an MOU signed on 5 May 2009, eligible graduates of the DER programme may also apply for UniSIM's bond-free sponsorships.

People's Association

The People's Association (PA) was established as a statutory board on 1 July 1960 to promote racial harmony and social cohesion in Singapore. Through its wide range of programmes and services, it aims to build and bridge communities to achieve one people, one Singapore.

At the launch of UniSIM's new Master of Community Leadership and Social Development (MCLSD) programme on 18 February 2012, UniSIM signed an MOU with the PA. UniSIM will partner the PA to run the MCLSD, a multi-disciplinary programme that focuses on practical knowledge and skills required for sound leadership and an in-depth understanding of social development in Singapore.

Playware Studios Asia

Playware Studios Asia (PWS) develops engaging learning environments that enable and enhance learning through play. It started out as a serious games developer but has expanded its portfolio with immersive multi-modal virtual laboratories, interactive galleries and online game development tools for teachers.
 
In the MOU signed on 31 July 2007, UniSIM's School of Science & Technology and PWS agree to identify areas for project development and provide project supervisors for capstone projects in degree programmes in the area of Multimedia and Design. UniSIM students will also be able to make use of PWS' specialised equipment.

On 11 October 2011, UniSIM signed an MOU with Pico Art. Under this partnership, Pico Art will provide strategic advice for UniSIM's Bachelor of Science in Facilities and Events Management programme, ensuring that the courses remain robust and relevant. UniSIM and Pico Art will also work together to host seminars at least once a year.

​Raffles Medical Group

Raffles Medical Group (RMG) is a leading medical group and the largest private group practice in Singapore. As a fully-integrated healthcare organisation, RMG owns and operates a network of family medicine clinics, a tertiary care private hospital, insurance services and a consumer healthcare division.

On 21 August 2011, UniSIM signed an MOU with Raffles Dental, a division of RMG, to actively promote continuing education to both medical and dental professionals in Singapore and the region. Both parties will organise academic and industrial training programmes in biomedical engineering and dental-related fields of study, as well as develop courses in higher management skills. In addition, both UniSIM and Raffles Dental will plan conferences and research projects to advance their roles in championing medical and dental research.

Red Hat

Founded in 1993, Red Hat is the most recognised open source brand in the world, serving global enterprises with technology and services made possible by the open source model. Red Hat's training programme operates worldwide and features Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) and JBoss® Certified Application Administrator (JBCAA) - the global standard Linux and middleware certifications.

On 1 April 2008, UniSIM partnered Red Hat to offer Singapore's first Open Source Software Executive Master programme. With open source software fast gaining popularity, this partnership will meet demand for Open Source professionals who will graduate with the globally-recognised RHCE certification and Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) certification.

Republic of Singapore Air Force

The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF), formerly known as the Singapore Air Defence Command (SADC), was established in 1968. It is the air arm of the SAF; equipped with various platforms and systems to safeguard the airspace.

On 25 May 2011, UniSIM signed an MOU with RSAF and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) to develop RSAF's personnel professionally and academically through the UniSIM-ERAU degree programmes. This agreement is an extension of the existing cooperation between UniSIM and the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), established through the Memorandum of Understanding on Strategic Partnership on Continuing Education signed on 27 February 2009.

SAFRA

SAFRA was formed in 1972 with the objective of helping the Singapore Armed Forces build morale and camaraderie amongst National Servicemen to foster a cohesive fighting force. Since then, it has grown into a prominent organisation with a network of clubs to provide quality social, recreational, sports and educational facilities for NSmen and their families.

UniSIM and SAFRA signed an MOU on 30 November 2006 to offer SAFRA members opportunities to upgrade themselves through UniSIM's programmes with sponsorship on course fees. SAFRA will continue to offer this sponsorship as agreed in a new MOU signed on 1 December 2009.

SAP is a German software corporation that develops enterprise software to manage business operations and customer relations. With worldwide regional offices, SAP is a market leader in enterprise application software, with known products such as its enterprise resource planning application (SAP ERP), SAP BusinessObjects software and in-memory computing appliance SAP HANA.

In July 2008, UniSIM partnered SAP to offer a SAP Global Certification Programme via full e-learning mode for the first time in Singapore. The programme is offered through the newly set-up UniSIM-SAP eAcademy and aims to equip professionals who desire to become certified SAP consultants in Enterprise Resource Planning with knowledge of business processes and industry best practices.

Science Centre Board

The Science Centre Board (SCB) promotes interest, learning and creativity in science and technology among students and the general public through imaginative and enjoyable experiences. It contributes to the nation's development through exhibitions and various other promotional activities that illustrate the principles of science and technology and showcase their relevance in everyday life to bring science closer to the people of Singapore..

Recognising their complementary and synergistic resources and expertise, UniSIM and SCB signed an MOU on 22 November 2012 to work together to promote mathematics, science and technology in schools and the general public. UniSIM and SCB will explore the conceptualisation and development of potential exhibits and outreach programmes in addition to providing speakers for public talks at the Science Centre.

Singapore Armed Forces

The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) is the military arm of the Total Defence of the Republic of Singapore, and the military component of the Ministry of Defence. Its mission is to enhance the country's peace and security through deterrence and diplomacy, and should these fail, to secure a swift and decisive victory over the aggressor.

To support SAF's efforts to develop its personnel professionally and academically, an MOU was signed between UniSIM and SAF on 27 February 2009 to establish a strategic partnership in continuing education. Under the partnership, non-graduate SAF personnel will be able to take up any UniSIM undergraduate courses, while gaining credits for their SAF Professional Military Education courses.

UniSIM also supports the SAF Counselling Centre, which works towards enhancing the psycho-social well-being of military personnel by providing a range of preventive, rehabilitative and developmental services. An MOU was signed on 4 October 2011, with the parties committing to explore collaboration opportunities to strengthen the relevant courses offered by UniSIM and to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and ideas between staff and students from both entities.

Singapore Association for Counselling

The Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC) is a professional association for counsellors in Singapore. It accredits postgraduate academic programmes in counselling and maintains a register of trained counsellors in Singapore.

On 25 September 2006, UniSIM launched the Bachelor of Counselling and Bachelor of Counselling cum Graduate Diploma in Counselling programmes. These programmes are accredited by SAC and recognised as programmes that prepare individuals to be registered as counsellors in Singapore. This will benefit mid-career counsellors and social workers looking to upgrade their skills and qualifications while continuing to work.

​Singapore Association of Social Workers

The Singapore Association of Social Workers (SASW) is a professional association for social workers in Singapore. It maintains a register of social workers and social service practitioners, and regulates professional competency.

UniSIM's Bachelor of Social Work, Bachelor of Social Work (Honours), Graduate Diploma in Social Work and Master of Social Work programmes are accredited by SASW. Graduates of the basic degree programmes can register with SASW after they have met the requirements of supervised practical work, while graduates of the honours degree programme will qualify for registration immediately.

Singapore Computer Society

The Singapore Computer Society (SCS), established since 1967, is the largest professional IT body in Singapore. It provides a unified voice for the industry in areas of public policy, workforce development, IT standards and certification.

On 14 January 2012, an agreement was signed between UniSIM and the SCS to launch a new student chapter. Under this collaboration, all students of UniSIM's School of Science and Technology would automatically become SCS student members, allowing them to leverage on the numerous networking and training opportunities offered by the SCS.

Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations

Since its inception in 1986, the Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations (SFCCA) has become a major organisation in the Singapore Chinese community. Its primary objectives are to strengthen cooperation among the clan associations, to organise and support educational, cultural and community activities, and to promote Chinese language, Chinese culture and traditions. 

On 17 September 2011, UniSIM signed an MOU with SFCCA to launch a sponsorship programme for SFCCA members to pursue higher education at UniSIM. This sponsorship provides assistance to working adults who would like to strengthen their command of the Chinese language and their understanding of the Chinese culture.

Singapore Logistics Association

Established in 1973, the Singapore Logistics Association (SLA) develops and promotes the logistics and supply chain industry in Singapore. As a trade association, SLA seeks to fulfil its objectives in close collaboration and engagement with logistics companies and professionals, institutions and academia, government agencies, industry organisations and partners, as well as international organisations and businesses.

UniSIM signed an MOU with SLA on 28 October 2008 to develop the Bachelor of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management programme - the only dedicated logistics degree programme offered by a Singapore university. Under this partnership, SLA will provide assistance in course development and instruction to ensure that the programme is relevant to industry needs, as well as provide scholarships and career placements.

Singapore Police Force
 
The mission of the Singapore Police Force (SPF) is to uphold the law, maintain order and keep the peace in Singapore.

UniSIM and SPF jointly launched the Bachelor of Science in Management and Security Studies (BSMSS) programme on 17 May 2006. The first of its kind in Singapore, the BSMSS programme serves as an upgrading pathway for non-graduate police officers. The programme, offered through UniSIM's modular and flexible learning pedagogy, makes it easier for in-service police officers to upgrade their qualifications, given the unpredictable nature of their duties.

On 3 May 2011, the parties renewed the MOU and included several new features, such as the use of different e-learning strategies and the opening up of the Security Studies component, previously only available to the Home Team, to all UniSIM students as a minor.

​Singapore Teachers' Union

Established in 1946, the Singapore Teachers' Union (STU) is Singapore's largest teachers' organisation. It organises various workshops, courses and seminars to help teachers develop professionally and help members keep abreast with the latest developments in teaching pedagogy and methods.

On 23 July 2009, UniSIM signed an MOU with STU to promote upgrading opportunities for members of the union. The offer of sponsorships aims to develop teachers professionally and academically.

Singapore Workforce Development Agency

The Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) leads and drives the workforce development in Singapore. It collaborates with employers, industry associations, the union and training organisations to develop and strengthen the continuing education and training system that is skill-based, open and accessible, as a mainstream pathway for all workers to upgrade and advance in their careers and lives.

Under the scope of an MOU signed on 5 February 2010, WDA will provide funding support for the Bachelor of Science in Aviation Maintenance and Bachelor of Science in Aviation Business Administration programmes, which are jointly offered by UniSIM and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. The collaboration with WDA will also cover a series of Master and Executive development programmes.

On 12 February 2010, WDA committed to offer scholarships to students of the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education with Management programme offered by UniSIM.

Sift Analytics Group (formerly known as SPSS BI (Singapore))

SPSS BI (Singapore) (now known as Sift Analytics Group) is a leader in predictive analytical technologies. It delivers the most complete range of analytical solutions, using simple to advanced statistical techniques, predictive analytics and data mining technology to help organisations turn data into business insights.

On 21 March 2007, UniSIM and SPSS signed an MOU to promote training and continuing education in Business Analytics. SPSS agreed to sponsor awards to top graduates of UniSIM’s Business Analytics programme, as well as the Analytics Education Forum held annually starting from 2010. The forum showcased the Business Analytics programme, which has led to industrial collaborations and job opportunities for students.

In a new MOU signed on 7 February 2012, SPSS will not only continue to work closely with UniSIM but also collaborate on certification programmes and case studies development, sponsor the forum and provide internship opportunities to students of the Business Analytics programme.

​ST Aerospace

ST Aerospace is the aerospace arm of ST Engineering. Operating a global MRO network with facilities in the America, Asia Pacific and Europe, it is the world's largest airframe MRO provider with a global customer base that includes many of the world's leading airlines, airfreight operators and military operators.

UniSIM signed an MOU with ST Aerospace, Cranfield University and Singapore Polytechnic on 24 March 2008 to collaborate on the launch of Asia Pacific's first broad-based aerospace degree programme. Under this collaboration, ST Aerospace will play an advisory role to contribute industry relevance to the programme. ST Aerospace's senior management staff with vast industry background will also provide teaching in local aerospace management topics and supervise final-year projects.  On 21 September 2011, the collaboration was renewed for another 10 years, as proposed by ST Aerospace.

​ST Medical Services

ST Medical Services (STMS) is a member of the ST Logistics Group of Companies. It manages and operates the Singapore Aeromedical Centre, the premier centre for aviation medicine in Singapore. The STMS also runs an Aviation Physiology Training Centre currently catering to the needs of the military.

On 15 January 2009, UniSIM and ST Medical Services agreed to collaborate for UniSIM's Human Factors and Systems (HFS) programme. The scope of collaboration includes staff of both parties working together in research and development projects, STMS staff lecturing on specialist topics and co-supervising final year HFS projects, and STMS making available specialised equipment to students for the purpose of teaching and research.

​Tax Academy of Singapore

The Tax Academy of Singapore is a non-profit institution established to raise the professional competency of the tax community in Singapore through training and education, and to develop Singapore into a regional tax knowledge hub. It is set up by the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore in collaboration with international accounting firms Deloitte & Touche, Ernst & Young, KPMG, PricewaterhouseCoopers, as well as the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore and the Law Society of Singapore.

UniSIM signed an MOU with the Tax Academy of Singapore on 18 July 2007 to launch the first Master of Taxation programme in Southeast Asia. This programme aims to provide tax professionals and adult learners with advanced training in taxation laws and current practices to keep up with the ever-changing trend.

The Institution of Engineers, Singapore

The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES) is the national society of engineers in Singapore called upon by the Government to provide feedback on professional engineering matters. The IES Academy, the training arm of IES operated by IE Holdings, is the leading provider of practical engineering knowledge and life-long training for engineers and technical personnel.

On 6 January 2007, UniSIM and IES signed an MOU to mark the establishment of the UniSIM-IES Chapter. This will include UniSIM's engineering students and students from any school of UniSIM's who meet the membership criteria under IES' by-laws. UniSIM and IES will cooperate in the development of professional and continuing education courses for the benefit of IES members and UniSIM students.

On 3 August 2007, UniSIM agreed to collaborate with IE Holdings to run the UniSIM-IES Executive Graduate Diploma in Technology Entrepreneurship (TEN) and an Executive Master of Technology Entrepreneurship degree programmes.​

On 27 June 2007, UniSIM and TSPL agreed to collaborate in the running of three information technology related short courses. These courses are available to students enrolled with UniSIM and TSPL students who wish to take these courses certified by UniSIM.
