 UniSIM Logistics Industry Talk And Project Presentation

​On 29 November 2014, the School of Business at SIM University (UniSIM) held its bi-annual logistics project presentation. Open to industry professionals and members of the public, the presentation showcased 62 projects of the Bachelor of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management programme students who were in their final semester.

A logistics industry talk, held in conjunction with the presentation, featured three prominent speakers who talked about their experiences in the sector and the career opportunities for those keen to embark on an exciting logistics career.

Mr Paul Lim, Founder/President of Supply Chain Asia, started off the session with the topic "Is The Supply Chain Industry Really That Exciting?" Following that, Mr Pang Hee Hon, Managing Director of Veritas Global Healthcare Pte Ltd and Board Advisor of Infotech Global Pte Ltd, presented on the topic "From The Pyramids In Egypt To Toyota In China – The Common Link". Closing the session was Mr Dan Boon, Director of Business Development at Boon Software Consulting Group, who gave a talk on "Moving Towards Technological Singularity: Human Augmented Logistics – Google Glass In The Warehouse Operations".
