SIM University offers a number of sponsorships in recognition of excellent academic achievements, leadership qualities and special talents and contributions.

The sponsorships are not available for students applying to the Law programmes.

UniSIM-NTUC Sponsorship

Committed to the promotion of lifelong learning, SIM University (UniSIM) offers a variety of sponsorships to new as well as existing students pursuing their studies in UniSIM.

The UniSIM-NTUC Sponsorship scheme aims to provide suitable candidates with the opportunity to enrol in undergraduate programmes with UniSIM and develop skills for life.
 
Who is Eligible?
The sponsorship is open to all General Branch and Ordinary Branch NTUC members. You should be a Singapore citizen or permanent resident with impressive academic and co-curricular activities records, strong language skills, and demonstrable leadership qualities. You must also not already be a degree holder.

New students must meet the admission requirements for the programme of study being applied for at UniSIM. They must separately seek admission to the programme, and must be accepted for admission before being considered for the sponsorship.
 
Tenure of Sponsorship
The sponsorship is awarded for the period required to complete the full programme of study. Sponsorship is only awarded for undergraduate programmes.
 
Value of Sponsorship
The value of the sponsorship is as follows:
  • Singapore Citizens who are eligible for government subsidy - award will cover up to 80% of the total course fee (inclusive of government subsidy).
  • Singapore Citizens aged 40 and above who are eligible for government subsidy - award will cover up to 92% of the total course fee (inclusive of government subsidy and Skillsfuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy). More information on SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy.
  • Singapore Permanent Residents who are eligible for government subsidy - award will cover up to 60% of the total course fee (inclusive of government subsidy).
  • Students who are not eligible for government subsidy - award will cover up to 50% of the total course fee.

There is no bond attached to the sponsorship.

The UniSIM-SAFRA Sponsorship scheme aims to provide suitable candidates with the opportunity to enroll in undergraduate programmes with UniSIM and develop skills for life.

Who is Eligible?
Application for the UniSIM-SAFRA Sponsorship is open to all SAFRA Ordinary A (except NSFs), Ordinary B and Life members. You must have impressive academic and co-curricular activities records, strong language skills and demonstrable leadership qualities. You must also not already be a degree holder.

New students must meet the admission requirements for the programme of study applied for at UniSIM. They must separately seek admission to the programme and must be accepted for admission before being considered for the sponsorship.

The sponsorship is awarded for the period required to complete the full programme of study. Sponsorship is only awarded for undergraduate programmes.

Application for the UniSIM-HomeTeamNS Sponsorship is open to all HomeTeamNS Ordinary members. You must have impressive academic and co-curricular activities records, strong language skills and demonstrable leadership qualities. You must also not already be a degree holder.

New students must meet the admission requirements for the programme of study applied for at UniSIM. They must separately seek admission to the programme and must be accepted for admission before being considered for the sponsorship.

Who is Eligible?
The sponsorship is open to all graduates of the Diploma in Employment Relations, offered by UniSIM in collaboration with the Ong Teng Cheong Labour Leadership Institute (OTCi). You should be a Singapore citizen or permanent resident with impressive academic and co-curricular activities records, strong language skills, and demonstrable leadership qualities. You must also not already be a degree holder.

New students must meet the admission requirements for the applied programme of study at UniSIM. They must separately seek admission to the programme and must be accepted for admission before being considered the sponsorship.

New students must meet the admission requirements for the programme of study applied for at UniSIM. They must separately seek admission to the programme and must be accepted for admission before being considered for the sponsorship.

Committed to the promotion of lifelong learning, SIM University (UniSIM) offers a variety of sponsorships to both new and existing students pursuing their studies in UniSIM.

The UniSIM-Business China Sponsorship scheme hopes to encourage lifelong learning and to nurture a bilingual and bi-cultural workforce. Awarded to non-degree holders, this sponsorship will offer the opportunity for them to upkeep their Chinese language skills and become more China-savvy.

Who is Eligible?
Application for the UniSIM-Business China Sponsorship is open to all Business China members and staff. The applicant must have good academic and co-curricular activities records, strong language skills and demonstrable leadership qualities. The applicant must also not already be a degree holder.

New students must meet the admission requirements for the programme of study applied for at UniSIM. They must separately seek admission to the programme and must be accepted for admission before being considered for the sponsorship.

The UniSIM-Business China Sponsorship is applicable to the following UniSIM programmes:

The UniSIM-Singapore Federation of Chinese Clans Association (SFCCA) Sponsorship scheme hopes to encourage lifelong learning and to nurture a bilingual and bi-cultural workforce. Awarded to non-degree holders, this sponsorship will offer the opportunity for them to strengthen their command of the Chinese language as well as gain a holistic understanding of the Chinese culture.

Who is Eligible?
Application for the UniSIM-SFCCA Sponsorship is open to all SFCCA members and staff. The applicant must have good academic and co-curricular activities records, strong language skills and demonstrable leadership qualities. The applicant must also not already be a degree holder.

New students must meet the admission requirements for the programme of study applied for at UniSIM. They must separately seek admission to the programme and must be accepted for admission before being considered for the sponsorship.

The UniSIM-SFCCA Sponsorship is applicable to the following UniSIM programmes:
