 Continuing Education

With You At Every Step

Are you looking for a career change or better employment opportunities and need the relevant work-related competencies?
Do you feel that you need to update or enhance your knowledge and skills in your career field?
Do you feel that you lack certain competencies to take you to the next phase of your career?
Did you miss out on the opportunity for a degree and would like to pace yourself towards one?
Have you ever wanted to learn how to manage your personal finances or learn about your rights and obligations in our legal system?
Have you ever wanted to just go back to school and embrace lifelong learning as a recreational activity?

At UniSIM, we can help you achieve all of the above and more.

Knowledge and skills evolve at such a fast pace that occupational obsolescence is a real and pressing problem. Continuing Education and Training (CET) is key to preventing this. At UniSIM, our continuing education programme is committed to providing accessible university-level education for those who desire to better themselves in work-related competencies for career advancement, to keep abreast of the latest developments in their career fields, or just for personal enrichment.

Its courses, drawn from the four schools of the university: Arts and Social Sciences, Business, Human Development and Social Services, and Science and Technology, are developed for direct industry relevance. These courses are routinely reviewed by external assessors to ensure academic rigour and industry currency.

Our credit-bearing CET courses will allow you to earn academic credit units that can be recognised should you decide to enrol in a UniSIM degree programme. Through our CET, we are creating a pathway to a degree for you.

CET courses may be taken as single modules or as advanced professional courses from the Office of Graduate Studies (post graduate certification courses).

CET courses also cater to specific professional development such as for:

Or, you may choose to focus on specific industry-related skills and knowledge:

These are only some of the skills and knowledge areas of UniSIM’s CET.

If you want to try something different, you can also check out our Special Interest Courses.

We can also put together corporate training programmes customised to the specific needs of corporations.
