The MIPIM curriculum builds on a common core foundation on IP law and IP management. It is followed by training in specialised domain knowledge and skills through completing courses in one of the three specialisation tracks. Individuals could opt for multiple pathways in which they may graduate with a Graduate Diploma or a Master's Degree.
Note: To apply for the Graduate Diploma in IP and Innovation Management (GDIPIM), applicants should select the Master of IP and Innovation Management (Patent Agency) (MIPIMP) option under Programme Selection.

Classes are conducted in the evenings, from 7pm to 10pm, over four semesters (24 months).
Graduates will be equipped to effectively apply and practise IP management skills in various phases of the innovation lifecycle, including creation, protection and exploitation. Possible career options include:
- patent agency.
- innovation and R&D management and advisory.
- IP management or IP technology consultancy/advisory.
